March 26, 1998: Bruce Ross narrowly escaped serious injury or death Thursday morning. Guelph Police said that the gas pedal on a Red Top Taxi became stuck and the taxi ended up on the Norfolk Street steps of the Church of Our Lady. It was a close call for Bruce who was riding a three-wheel scooter but no one was injured, police said.
